Recipes - Sticky Macintosh Muffins

Sticky Macintosh Muffins

This is a new one I invented a few days ago and it came out right on the first try. I had a lot of leftover molasses from Christmas which I wanted to use for something other than ginger snaps, but I also wanted to not require too many ingredients. I heard that hot water can be used to replace milk and apple sauce can be used to replace eggs, so... voila! A delicious muffin that is also vegan. The macintosh is one of my favourite apples as its not too sour and not too sweet, but it never gets used much in baking. We either go for red or green apples. Every apple deserves a chance to shine. And molasses should be used for more than just gingerbread loaves or cookies.

Try it out and let me know how it comes out. And if you have a recipe to share, let me know through a private message or social media, and I'll make a recipe card out of it. Just please also provide a picture of the goodie, so I can know how it looks.

Stay hungry! If you love my art, please support me on Ko-fi, Patreon or shop for art or a commission. I do both digital and print.

That is one adorable griffin! :D

I would try the recipies, but I can barely cook to save my life - literally! ;) With tremendous effort when very hungry, I have on occasion produced something edible. XD

Whip is a pipsqueak griffin meaning she is half budgie and half mouse. Believe it or not, she helps decorate the cakes. Because of her tiny size, she can put on the tiny decorations like sprinkles, drop candies and other tiny things with a steady precise hand.

I used to be like that believe or not when it came to cooking, but these recipes are foolproof (hopefully). Most don't even require a machine so you could give those ones a try.

Maybe I'll find it easier eventually. I would like to experiment; I agree that molasses should be used more. Liquorice too.
