That's actually what I was going for. As great as anime is and I how so most of its messages are positive, there are times when even it can get very toxic. Like... there's life after the tournament.

Actually, no. The more self-aware an AI, the more unaware they can be at times. That's the price of sentience and personhood even in robots and androids in my fiction. They can get distracted, their minds can wander, they get cocky and forget things.

A machine does things perfectly every time because it doesn't think about other things or feel anything as it does its task. Nor is it actually aware of what it is doing. It literally just exists to do the task. A person is complicated.
