Recipes - Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Raisin cookies get a criminally bad rap for being tasteless or worse, when in fact, they are good and one of the healthier cookies to eat hence why we get encouraged to eat them as kids. The problem is with the recipe not the cookie so here is a raisin cookie recipe which is guaranteed to produce raisin cookies you will actually like.

Plus, raisins are delicious even on their own and very good for you. They're full of iron and have no sugar other than their own natural ones. They're just dry grapes. They are highly misunderstood and deserve more love. I chose Tiny Sister to showcase the cookies while acting as a teacher since she looks like a nun and in most classic media, nuns often were teachers. Please, teach your kids to enjoy healthy food from the get go.

Huh, I could never understand why people hated raisin oatmeal cookies... maybe I'm just super lucky when picking my cookies?

Most store bought raisin cookies kind of suck in my experience.
